Pelvic inflammatory Disease
I was diagnosed with PID almost 2 months ago. I have taken prescription from 2 doctors in a span of 4 months. I took complete antibiotic course as recommend by the doctors. Somehow the problem keeps coming back. I am worried if there will be an issue in conceiving. What is the infertility alarming stage for PID? Does it ever gets cured? What should I do so that the symptoms don't come back? Does physical exercises increase the chances of symptoms coming back? What precautions I should take?

Pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) is an infection of a woman's reproductive tract. It can affect the uterus, fallopian tubes, and/or the ovaries. Left untreated, chronic infection and infertility can develop. It is caused by bacteria, often the same type of bacteria that causes STDs. Most cases of pelvic inflammatory disease clear up after 10 to 14 days of antibiotic treatment. ... Dr Rupal (Senior Consultant Physician) Mumbai
