Symptoms:
1. Mild pain and fullness in the left upper abdomen (spleen area) even without eating.
2. Occasional yellow stools, burning during defecation, and dark/reddish urine for the past few days.
3. No noticeable weight loss or severe fatigue.
Medical History:
1. Splenomegaly (13.2 cm) noted in an ultrasound (Dec 2024).
2. Persistently elevated bilirubin (direct and indirect) for over a month.
3. Low platelets (120 thou/mm³) with giant platelets observed on peripheral smear.
Current Medications (stopped 3 days ago):
Reheptin DS, Pantoprazole, Probiotic.
Concerns:
1. Persistent dark urine burning—could this be linked to bilirubin or a urinary issue?
2. Mild discomfort and fullness due to splenomegaly—how serious is this if platelets continue to drop?
KFT report last month was good.
