Pimples on face, chest and back
I've had acne for over 2 years now. It was normal red bumps at first but now I have yellow puss filled acne all over. I also have oily skin. Learning from sources, i have stopped consuming dairy products and only eat vegan food and it has helped to some extent. What else can be helpful? Please suggest home remedies as much as possible. Thanks.

Acne can be treated easily with facewash, tablets and creams. Some people have more oilyness on the face which results in breakouts. After completing treatment for controlling the active breakouts, tablets can be stopped and creams need to be continued to prevent recurrence. Diet and lifestyle modifications are also important. Please don't do any self treatment such as over the counter Steroid creams. Don't burst the pimples with your fingers as it can result in ugly scars. The marks and pores left behind after the pimples heal can also be treated. Please call me or send your photos through online consult option for detailed prescription and diet advice.

Greetings. Please note : Acne is a common problem in teenagers and young adults. Excessive consumption of milk and milk products can worsen acne. Reduce intake of chocolates and junk food too. Use a topical retinoid cream daily night. You may need a short course of antibiotics. Forehead pimples even respond to use of a good antidandruff medicated shampoo. Discuss other suitable forms of treatment with your dermatologist. Pimples may often leave spots especially of not treated or if we burst pimples or pick them. You'll need skin lightening creams for a specified duration to reduce the marks , and this could also be dealt with chemical peeling. Also you must use a sunscreen to prevent darkening of the spots. For scars, creams may not work n you may need procedures like microneedling, microneedling rf, fractional lasers, prp or subscision or a combination of these. Send in your pictures if you need further assistance on private consult. Or see a dermatologist near you and discuss the same with him. Hope this helps. Warm regards
