Hi. I'm currently at 33 weeks 2 days. Doppler study was done at 30 weeks. My placenta is posterior and low, appears to be dipping into the lower segment. Maturity Grade 3.
Amniotic fluid: Four quadrant AFI: 13.7. Maximum vertical liquor pocket is 5.6 cms
Fetal weight: 1658 to 1678 grams
Cephalic presentation.
No
diabetes, hypertension.
Biophysical score 8/8.
Umbilical artery doppler: Pl 0.99/ Rl 0.64 (positive end diastolic flow)
MCA Doppler Pl 1.40/ PSV 64.7 cm/s.
I'm worried about the placental maturity. Should I be concerned about it? What can I do to reduce the calcification? Is normal delivery possible? If no, will there be any complications during cesarean? My doctor has still not discussed about mode of delivery. Could you please explain what this means and what to expect. Please advise on what to do next.
