Pneumonia & jaundice to diabetic patient
My mother, who is a diabetic patient, is diagnosed with pneumonia and jaundice. Her Hb was 6.5 which is now 8.10 after giving her 2 units of blood. Her sugar levels were very high to which doctor changed her sugar medication as Olymprix- one in lunch Gluconorm PG 2 - breakfast and dinner Now sugar level has started decreasing but please can anyone help with the diet chart and for regulation of the sugar in the coming future.

She needs to be under care of a General Physician in your area. Control of blood sugar may take some time. Even her anaemia needs to be investigated. In short, she is not a case for tele-consultation.
