Post Inflammatory Hyperpigmentation
I have had severe fungal infection (ring worm) in my private area when I was around 15 to 16 years. Now I am 25 years, but the infection has lead my skin in private region and is more darker than my rest of the body. I am fair by complexion and hence uneven skin tone in private area has lead to awkward moments. Please guide, how can I regain back fairer skin or lighten the hyperpigmentation caused by fungal infection ?

You can try some creams for the pigmentation. If there is no response, there are peels that can be done. Kindly consult online with relevant photographs for proper diagnosis and management.
