Posterior placenta in 20th week
My wife at 20th week of pregnancy yesterday we taken Obestric scan there in two option in that scan one is posterior and anterior placenta they marked as posterior placenta what is the posterior and anterior is that related with gender and or about premature delivery

You just inform your gynaecologist about the report .in your next visit you please discuss it with the obstetrician. Don’t ry to interpret the report on your own.relax

Its either posterior or anterior can't be both! It has nothing to do with preterm delivery or gender.

In your pregnancy Placenta position is normal. It bears no relationship with gender of baby or premature births

Continue iron and calcium tablets Mothers Horlicks two spoons with milk two times a day for a month
Health Tips
Sleep in left lateral position for 2 hours at afternoon and for eight hours at bedtime Drink plenty of water and fruits juice Avoid lifting weights and stress and intercourses and travel Avoid papaya and pineapple Take 3 fruits of your choice daily
