Hi dear thanks for query. I am also being a women, I understand your concern and emotions towards self and child. This is a normal phase every one will experience, during the pregnancy period you might had a different expectations, if I can call a DREAM. Relating the baby to your husband or father or any one in the family. Thinking the baby will be similar to them or other things. may be this expectation is not letting you to accept the reality or present situation. Which is putting you emotionally down. Try to understand one thing gender may not make much difference when it comes to the area of skills, talents or personality or other traits. Understand the reason for sadness and try to accept the things you had your self, cope with the disturbances you are experiencing. Take the help of psychologist to guide you through the process of postnatal period. Take care, enjoy the mother hood.
