Pregnancy is a most normal event in a woman's life. There is no need for any special preparation. A few basic tests like blood group, Hb, urine examination etc are enough. Eat a balanced diet with plenty of fruits and vegetables. Add 1 boiled egg daily. Do daily physical exercises and keep yourself fit. That's all that is needed !

take folic acid. pregnancy is a normal stage in every women's life there is no need to be over anxious and get prenatal investigations. just relax and enjoy.
Hi. Take folic acid. Its must. As we do prenatal testing to know about your immunity against rubella and varicella. If you had chickenpox in childhood then no need to do varicella also. Prenatal testing like base line tsh, fbs, rubella ig g and hemoglobin electrophoresis is needed. Sometimes you need vaccination if you r not immune to rubella.
Yes. Folic acid supplements should be started 3 months prior to conceiving. You should know your blood group. If you have strong family history of diabetes, it's worthwhile to check your sugars. In case you smoke or drink, you will need to quit that. There's no restriction on diet as such. You can have usual food. Consume more fruits, vegetables and milk/curd
