PREDNISOLONE - THYROID FUNCTION
While taking Thyronorm 25 mcg for 2 months+, my TSH remained 7.4
Due to nasal polyps i was given Wysolone 10 mg twice daily for 14 days. Immediately after completion of Wysolone dose, due to face swelling and hypertension and palpitations, i have rechecked TSH and is less than 1.5.
Does Prednisolone decrease TSH without increading Thyroxine dose. I had completed wysolone dose yesterday.
After how many days i have to recheck Thyroid profile to get correct pircture.
Kindly help.
