It’s important that you find out the basic cause of anemia. Hope hemoglobinopathies ( ex thalassemia ) has been ruled out .. GET complete CBC & peripheral blood smear done .. Depending on these reports other investigations mat be required.. Deworming with albendazole needs to be done .. Yes , meanwhile continue taking iron rich diet along with iron tablets ( twice daily) , after ruling out thalassemia ..

Yes you cn take jaggery.. Apart from it add pomegranate ,beet roots ,dates , carrot ,  resins ,spinach ,green leafy vegetables , bengal gram to your diet to increase hemoglobin levels..
