I wanted a testosterone test which came back low so they said i can start the T gel then another consultant jumped in saying i need a physical test ! I would like a second opinion on this hence i have contacted you. Also not sure if you do therapy on this so please let me know. Thank you Paris

Hi Your PSA is normal. Do you have erection issues and other vague problems pertaining to low testosterone than its ok to start on testosterone suppliments. But keep a watch on PSA. ADAM (Androgen difficiency in aging male) is a condition where symptoms pertaining to low testosterone will manifest in old age who can be treated with testosterone suppliments. But have to be regularly checked for prostate cancer with psa and rectal examination.
