Pulled tympanoplasty suture
Ten days after surgery, I was itching behind my ear, and felt what seemed to be a loose scab. I pulled, and felt a small amount of thread like material, accompanied by mild to moderate bleeding. This stopped after around 5 minutes of direct pressure applied by cotton balls. Two stitches are notably pointing outward from the incision. Is this a cause for concern?

I would have got a better idea is you had attached a picture of the area.
