Pulse in the lower abdomen
Hello. For the first time in my life I am feeling a pulse in the right lower abdomen. Theres no pain or anything. Just that I can feel the pulse quite noticeably. I am 28 and weight 57kgs. I exercise and have a slender body but I do have some belly fat. Does this pulse mean anything?

Its not normal to having marked pulsations in that region, Therefore a further detailed history about these pulsations is must, an usg whole abdomen will assist in your diagnosis and can be done pre-consultation but it is worth mentioning thats its not confirmative, hence the right test can be determined after detailed history. Also there's a possibility what is being perceived as pulsations could be entirely different but mimicking as pulsations.
Next Steps
get a usg done, and get a consultation done
Health Tips
In the meantime, Avoid straining your body. drink water eat more fibrous diet.

The only Pulse that you can feel in your abdomen is the pulsation of the aorta. But it should not be possible to feel your own aortic pulsation if you are 57 kg  (unless you are about 170 cm) .

They might be normal aortic pulsations which are felt because you are lean. You visit a physician ( internal medicine) and confirm it. For detailed evaluation of your case/further queries /guidance/management plan, whatsapp nine three seven zero two eight four three seven six or connect via Practo.

This is due to Abdominal aorta pulsation (a vessel running in the abdominal region). since you have mentioned that you are lean ,so this is normal. However if it is associated with pain or discomfort then i would suggest you to consult a Doctor.
