Rabies Vaccine
How long does a rabies vaccine last..some say 6 months some 1 year..which is correct..also I had taken all the 5 doses of rabies vaccine 8 months ago..do I need to take it again if I suspect of any transmission..?

6 months , of before year again have animal bite then booster doses enough.

For repeat dog bite, only 2 doses of rabies vaccines are to be given on day 0&3. What ever is the interval from primary vaccination. But my advice is to consult ur physician with old prescription of vaccine for confirmation.
