Recent heart attack
Recently (13 days back) had a heart attack followed by angioplasty n stent despite showing normal cholestrol levels just to be sure had a lipid profile done again please advise if the following results are ok and what remedies should i take to improve. Since the last 13 days i have completely given up smoking, alcohol intake, oil filled foods and plan to start exercise as soon as i m done with recovery probably 2 weeks more. Age 31 weight 83 Cholestrol 81 Tryglyc 54 HDL 30 LDL 28 VLDL 11

50 percent of all patients who have heart attack have normal cholesterol. So its a usal scenario. Cholesterol is only one of the 10 important risk factors for heart attack. Most important and most powerful is smoking
