Redness of penis head.
Dear Doctor, For over two months, I have been experiencing pain and redness on my penis. I have been applying ointment daily and consulted a specialist, but I haven't found relief. I followed all the medications as directed by the doctor. During the consultation, the doctor mentioned that this was normal and advised me to maintain proper hygiene and take a bath twice a day. I have been following these instructions. Whenever I apply the ointment, it shows some white texture. If I skip applying the ointment for one day, the redness reappears on the head of the penis, and there is swelling in the outer skin. I am not sure why I am not getting rid of this. Please advise on what I should do. Thank you.
