Dear Patient,  Thank you for sharing your concerns. Your symptoms—severe headaches in the afternoons/evenings for a week, coupled with a previous blood pressure reading of 147/92 (Stage 1 Hypertension)—suggest the need for further evaluation. Here’s what you should know:  Key Points:  1. Blood Pressure (BP):     - Your BP (147/92) is *elevated** (normal: <120/80). Persistent high BP can cause headaches and requires monitoring.     - DART tablets (likely containing paracetamol + caffeine) may temporarily relieve pain but do not address the root cause.  2. Possible Causes:    - Hypertension*(needs lifestyle changes/medication).     - **Stress, dehydration, or migraines** (triggered by afternoon fatigue).     - **Secondary causes** (e.g., vision issues, sinusitis).  3. Urgent Actions:     - Recheck BP immediately (home monitor/clinic).     - **Salt restriction, hydration, and stress management** (as advised by Dr. Chaithra).  Next Steps:  -*Consultation Required:*    - BP management requires **personalized treatment** (antihypertensives if needed).    - Rule out other causes (e.g., neurological or hormonal).  - **Contact Me:** For a detailed assessment, message me on WhatsApp at **Eight Zero Zero Nine Eight Two One Three Three Two**.

I strongly suggest you to serial monitor your bp for 3 to 4 times a day. Bp more than or equal to 140/90 is considered high. Since you are having headache I strongly suggest you to take anti hypertensive drugs after serial bp monitor. Usual nsaid won’t work on this type of headache. Don’t just sit around do nothing, kindly consult for further management. Sometimes it needs further investigation either. Thank you
Next Steps
Drink plenty of water, reduce salt intake, reduce saturated oils, walk at least 30 minutes a day continuously 7 days.
