Regarding TT injection
I am pooja 24 yrs old age and 3 month completed pregnant recently & before 2 days I had cut injury on leg near the leg thumb by steel rack while working , Dr.treated by dressing only , injury is dried but suggested TT injection , when we diid visit for check up and follow up by before injury our family gynecologiat dr.told given to TT injection in 5th month , now when I take TT injection in 5th month or now ...?Please help me

yes u can take tt inj as our gvt has motto as early as possible in 1st trimester.if you have taken tt dose during 3 year then no need to take again.and talk with your dr. also The protection from a tetanus toxoid vaccine remains for 5 years. Thus there is no need to repeat the vaccine for any cuts or injury, if you already have received the vaccine in the past five years.
