Removal of a Birthmark
I have a birthmark behind my right ear which has grown gradually.
It looks like a keloid and it itches in summer.
It has bad odour as well, what could be the reason for it.
I want to get it surgically removed.
I want to know is it safe to get it removed, like will it appear again once removed or has it any side effects?

This is a nevus. Standard treatment is surgical removal only. The strategy for removal can only be planned after examining you. If removed completely it will not come back.
