Hi , Since you are a diabetic from 14 years and have developed Diabetic retinopathy, the decreased vision possibly is due to something called diabetic macular edema. The ophthalmologist usually does an OCT to see the amount of swelling present in the central retina (macula). Ozurdex is dexamethasone intravitreal implant, which is a steroid. Your eye pressure is usually monitored every visit.
Next Steps
There are other injections available to reduce your macular edema, called Anti-VEGF drugs (Avastin and Lucentis). You should probably go back to your Ophthalmologist and ask about these available options.
