Requesting a second medical opinion
I have sustained an injury on my left hand's little finger while playing a cricket match. I have been experiencing pain while trying to bend the finger, so got an X-RAY done and also consulted a doctor (attaching both documents). I have been told that I may need to undergo surgery due to a dislocation. Please advise if there are any other alternatives or just this one route? A temporary splint has been provided to my finger for now.

Yes please do not delay . Follow your surgeon advice and get operated. Dislocation can turn into complex procedure if you wait
