Retinal disorder
Due to water in retina.doc did leaser operation.but day by day eye sides  become worse. my father is a diabetic patient.doc can't confirm anything.he said retina may not recover.i produce left eye's DFA & OCT.can you please help me on that.can it be recover in any how

Dear sir as per your report it looks like severe non proliferative diabetic retinopathy with macular edema in both eyes left more than right Oct shows cholesterol deposits with epi retinal membrane For him 1 plz get his sugars under control and if needed add cholesterol lowering drugs 2 non response to treatment you should first get sugars n nephropathy under control 3 intravitreal injection like avastin Lucentis or Ozurdex will help but may need multiple treatments 4 as there is epiretinal membrane in oct scan Vitrectomy with erm removal endolaser (retina surgery) can be considered 5 sincerely most imp factors are good diabetes nephropathy n lipid profile controls
