Hello, first of all I must say a having TMJ diorder is very taxing for an individual, but trust me is it treatable. Can you please elaborate your discomfort? Also any diagnostics i.e xrays etc? Another most important thing to remember is, there is no one way or best way to treat it. Every patient, every TMJ is different from one another. In-fact even the structure of two TMJ's in the same patient can be different. So I would suggest you to wait for a while and stick to the treatment given to you, trust the dentist. You can always take a second opinion after that.
Next Steps
describe treatment given, discomfort felt, xrays taken
