Root Canal
I m undergoing root canal. I need to know when I go to dentist he always change the dressings and apply more medicine inside using a cotton and it tastes like clove and infection is taking a lot of time to cure. What can I do from my side so that it cures faster.?

There are times when an infection can take unduly long time to heal...but if you have no pain then completing the treatment should be okk...however u can take a second opinion from a root canal specialist just to restore ur peace of mind....your current dentist may be doing the right thing but its difficult for me to give a correct opinion without a check up and recent xrays...take care

You need an  x ray review and another dentists examination. When there's a swelling, can follow antibiotic course after your dentist's prescription. Dr Krishnaveni

Some times with abscess it takes time for healing And if you have abscess then the doctor will do repeated irrigation and dressing

Helo..I don't feel so it takes so much time. Better to post a IOPA x-ray. We can guide you much better after evaluating x-ray & clinically also.
