Root canal pain
I had root canaling done in my upper right molar, and the capping was done last Sunday. Now, there's a slight throbbing pain and it hurts when I try to chew on that side.

Usually some pain persists after RCT,,but if it is severe you get an x-ray of the tooth concerned and consult a dentist.

You should immediately visit your dentist as a throbbing pain is not good. It may not subside with antibiotics

Throbbing pain maybe because the infection has not fully subsided or the cap (crown is technical term ) is high.
Next Steps
You need to take a course of antibiotics and pain killers. If this doesnt help go back to your dentist.
