Scleritis is inflammation of white part of eye. It is commonly a result of any auto immune disease viz rheumatoid arthritis or any other collagen vascular disease. Please get evaluated by an ophthalmologist to assess the severity of scleritis and the appropriate management( corticosteroids/ lubricants/antibiotics). Do consult a rheumatologist to treat collagen vascular disease if any.
