Second opinion
My father is taking anxiety tablets for more than an year now. He is feeling better after taking them but I feel it has made him very inactive and less responsive. I need a second opinion on his condition

A trial of gradually tapering the meds can be undertaken to give minimum possible dose or omit altogether, if feasible.
You should take a psychiatrist consult and proceed forwards.
