Seizure episode, Meningo Encephalitis
I had a seizure episode 2 times early this, doctors diagnosed it Meningo Encephalitis. i hav been asked to consume Valparin 500 mg Alkalets tablet (Sodium Valproate) 2/day. while i take this tablet i have a tremor in my hands. Should i need to consult with doctors and take any treatment for this? is there any treatment available? I am here in Gulf, when i consulted one doctor here, he says i don't need to worry of it. He says i will be ok when i stop taking these tablets as per doctors advise.

What was the MRI brain? Any post encephalitis symptoms? Seizures were purely infective in aetiology? All depends on that. One can cautiously stop these medication and if needed, alternative AED can be sought
