I have a stricture in my esophagus which needs regular dilation..
Will dilation effect pregnancy or will cause preterm labour or anything related to pregnancy complications will it invite??

Simple strictures can be safely dilated under local anaesthesia and sedation, complex stricture need general anaesthesia and one have to evaluate risk to benefit ratio after thorough evaluation of patients specially in conditions like pregnancy.
