3 month continuous sensitivity only while chewing hard to semi hard foods only on that filled part. Sensitivity to water or sudden temperature changes. Lasts dor few seconds. Applying sensodyne and it is improving but the sensitivity is still there. Bite test is okay, no high points. Main question is do i need a RCT in any scenario or wait and see? And is the filling anywhere near pulp or deep enough?

First of all , i need a current rvg picture( xray IOPA) and maybe it will all be alright with composite filling( only if tooth is not decayed much ) otherwise we have to do root canal of the same
Hi
First of all, I would like to say that the Xray you have shared is not clear. You might get another Rvg or an OPG.
From what your complaint is looks like Rct is unavoidable, but can be delayed, depending on your symptoms
Hello
You might need an x-ray called RVG to know the position of the tooth and if it is not severe, then it might need dental filling. If not, you might have to go for root canal treatment followed by crown.
