Septic chronic bursitis
For septic chronic bursitis do I need to get to ER now or can I wait 7hrs to morning to get to an Ortho. The redness and hotness began this morning on my knee.

Hi User ! Septic arthritis or septic bursitis is an acute condition represented as a hot swollen tender knee with high fever and chills not responding to any treatment. Sorry to say but this is not the right platform to be taken opinion from in emergency cases. Chronic means that the pathology has been there for atleast 6 weeks. in a chronic case, no use of hurrying up to emergency. but its better to overdiagnose than under diagnose a pathology. please consider visiting your orthopedic surgeon
