Severe anemia due to heavy periods.
I'm a 14 year old girl.From the age of 12 i started having my periods.But my periods are not at all normal.Sometimes I don't get it for months and sometimes i get it for say 1-3 months.Due to this my haemoglobin levels are also very low.2months back it was 3.7 and right now its 6.8. My diet is also very good and before this problem my haemoglobin was 14. but right now I feel very tired and dizzy and i have pain in my calf and sometimes i also get heart palpitations.Please guide me.

The symptoms u r hvng is due to severe anemia. The cause of heavy bleeding in ur case s immature HPO axis. Eventually it ll normalize. But for now u need to be on iron medication , hormonal pill for cycle regularization and other medication. A blood transfusion or an iron infusion may be needed too.
