I've had frequent panic attacks in the recent past. I've been able to come out of it but not completely. Past 3-4 years there have been a lot of complications in my personal life which has taken a toll on my mental health and certain incidents have caused a traumatic effect. Lately due to change in the course of events in my personal life as well as my career I'm having severe anxiety, anxiety attacks, severe headaches due to stress and lack of sleep.
I prefer not to be treated with pills. As I'm highly sensitive to certain medication and get allergic reactions.

Hi
Consult a doctor to treat severe anxiety. Also consult a psychologist and talk about what you are going through in your personal life. With a psychologist you can talk about what is bothering you in your personal life and you can also talk about stress, lack of sleep, and headache.
It seems to be stress disorder leading to panicky attacks and other health issues.
It needs to be treated asap otherwise it may get complicated.
It can be well treated with counseling sessions and homeopathic medication if required.
Homeopathic medication would be the best solution for your concern and they do not have any side effects or allergic reactions.

What you are sharing sounds like post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). This is not a diagnosis. Because a diagnosis will require a complete psychological evaluation. But this is what it sounds like to me.

The solution is to find yourself a licensed clinical psychologist for psychotherapeutic intervention. because it is important to find out the trigger for your anxiety. And also, there is a need to discuss the impact that those difficult life events might have had on you.
The treatment plan will need to focus on
- the anxiety and panic attacks (by finding out their triggers and addressing them)
- there is a need to help you figure out ways to adapt yourself to these new life changes that you've mentioned in a way that accommodates your way of being.
- as mentioned previously, there is a need to discuss your past history.

Many people experience panic attacks, in which they suddenly feel anxious and not in control of a situation, possibly without knowing why.
You may feel breathless or as if you are having a heart attack, and it can be very frightening.
Panic attacks can occur unexpectedly and have a significant impact on your daily life, but there are ways to manage them. Treatment is also available for panic and anxiety disorders, which may be an underlying condition.
If you have concerns about panic attacks, speak with your psychologist. They can help you work out a suitable strategy to manage symptoms and reduce the impact.
Health Tips
Seek counseling
Cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and other types of counseling can often help people who have panic attacks and who have panic disorders. CBT aims to help you change the way you see challenging or frightening situations and to help you find new ways to approach these challenges as they arise.
You can find CBT for individuals or groups, online or face-to-face, and the length of treatment can also vary. In exposure-based CBT, your therapist will expose you to something that can trigger a panic attack and help you work your way through it.
As well as changing behavior, there is some evidence that CBT might affect structures in your brain that are responsible for panic symptoms.
Use deep breathing
While hyperventilating is a symptom of panic attacks that can increase fear, deep breathing can reduce symptoms of panic during an attack.
Slow breathing
Practice mindfulness
Mindfulness can help ground you in the reality of what’s around you. Since panic attacks can cause a feeling of detachment or separation from reality, this can combat your panic attack as it’s approaching or actually happening.
Mindfulness involves:
focusing your attention on the present
recognizing the emotional state you’re in
meditating to reduce stress and help you relax
Focus on the physical sensations you are familiar with, like digging your feet into the ground or feeling the texture of your jeans on your hands. These specific sensations ground you firmly in reality and give you something objective to focus on.
Experts say that mindfulness strategies, such as meditation, can help manage anxiety symptoms, although it’s not clear they can treat an underlying anxiety disorder.
Hi... Medications are used for the purpose of immediacy. If the situation is critical, medications play a catalyst role in recovery. Since the root of your issues appears to be more cognitive and psychosocial, so the treatment will majorly involve psychotherapy/counselling. It does takes some time but your issues will be resolved from the root.
Next Steps
Consult a Psychologist.
CBT along with Lifestyle Guidance and Motivational Counselling is required.
