My wife is suffering from severe back pain from the past 3 days. The pain is coming from the lower back from one specific point. She is on some pain killers but that isn't helping. What type of doctor should we consult for relief and where?

Hello there.
I can understand your concern.
I hope she isn't in too much pain.
As of now, you can give her some muscle relaxant medication like tab. Zerodol-th8 twice a day after food.
She should get adequate sun exposure daily for about 20 minutes a day with atleast 20 percent of body surface area exposed.
Consult a orthopedician spine specialist for further evaluation and management.
Best regards.
Dr. Anil Kumar Jain.
