Severe coughing

Asked for Female, 33 Years

She had viral fever few days back. She took ajithral500 and sompras d. After 2 days she got away with fever but her coughing remained intact along with nasal congestion. She then started taking ambrilite cough syrup thrice a day while continuing with sompras d in the morning but there have been no reduction in her coughing frequency. Kindly suggest.

Hello.... It could be throat infection... Bacterial or viral or allergic.. Viral will subside on its own in a week or so... Allergic sore throat takes time... Tell her to take steam inhalation and gargle with salt water twice daily... She should avoid oily foods for few days..........
