--- Dear Patient,  Thank you for sharing your symptoms. The sharp pain in your upper left abdomen along with semi-loose stools could be related to several factors, especially since you recently completed a course of antibiotics. Antibiotics can sometimes disrupt the natural balance of gut bacteria, leading to digestive discomfort or changes in bowel movements.  Possible causes to consider include:  1. **Gastritis or stomach irritation** – This can cause upper abdominal pain and may be influenced by medications or dietary factors.  2. **Post-antibiotic digestive changes** – Loose stools may indicate mild disruption of your gut flora.  3. **Pancreatic or splenic concerns** – Less likely but worth ruling out if pain persists.  I recommend:  - Monitoring your symptoms for a few days, noting any triggers (like specific foods or stress).  - Eating bland, easy-to-digest foods (like bananas, rice, or toast) and staying hydrated.  - Avoiding spicy, fatty, or irritating foods that may worsen discomfort.  If the pain continues or worsens, or if you develop additional symptoms like fever, vomiting, or significant weight loss, please seek medical evaluation. A physical examination and possibly further tests (such as an ultrasound or stool analysis) may be needed to determine the cause.  For a detailed consultation, you can reach me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two. I’d be happy to help you identify the cause and provide a tailored treatment plan.
