With whom does she stay? Is there anyone at home who looks after her and she listens to her/him? If yes then ask thet person to give medicines daily to patient in hand and patient has to swallow medicines in front of him/her. Also keep medicines with you only so that daily dose administration is possible. Sometimes patients do not take medicines on their own specially chronic schizophrenia patients.
Next Steps
If she is taking medicines and still has some symptoms you can consult with Psychiatrist for dosage and medicines. But observe patient and note down every detail you feel which is unusual. If she is not taking medicines even given under observation then immediately have to get expert opinion.
Health Tips
Watch for self /other harming behavior.
