Shortness of breathe, choking and cough
My boyfriend suffers from shortness of breath, almost every other day. Now he couldn't sleep properly due to choking, cough, cold etc. He caught cold easily, also in summer time he suffers. From past 2-3 days he's suffering heavily. He also have indigestion problem. Please suggest me what I do now and how can i handle it. I'm too worried.

Detailed history-present and past required to have a proper diagnosis. He may have possibility of bronchial asthma, indigestion as you mentioned(GERD) is seen with asthma patients.

If shortness of breath is very severe, audible wheezing, uncomfortable awareness of raised pulse rate, he is unable to complete sentences would require emergency in-hospital visit. Kindly look for these warning signs.
