Sinus, smelly discharge
Im suffering from sinus related problem since 2 months.feeling pain from left part of forehead upto left nose.every now & then a yellowish smelly discharge occur from left side of my nose.recently done with CTPNS which shows moderate mucosal thickening in the left maxillary sinus causing almost 70 to 80 % of air space opacification extending into the middle meatus through the maxillary ostium.moderate mucosal thickening in bilateral ethmoid air cells.mild mucosal thickening in bilateral frontal & sphenoid sinuses.bilateral concha bullosa with secondary mucosal thickening. I have been on medication from d past 15 days. Had taken augmentin 625, allegra M, defza 6mg, ezicas nasal spray, enzoflam. When i take this medication i feel ok for some time but again after 7 to 8 hours the same story goes on.plzz consult what should i do now

Hello, Chronic sinusitis or frequent sinus infections may be caused by an bacterial infection which as not cured completely , it can also be caused by growths in the sinuses (nasal polyps) or by a deviated nasal septum, these polyps and DNS will predispose to infection. Important is you should continue your medicines for full course and need to get follow at the end of your medicines. The medicines you are taking on now is the best outpatient treatment. Please continue till complete course.
