The most common reason for skin darkening is sun exposure, others are metabolic, hormonal, drug induced or cosmetic use .please start using a good medicated sunscreen everyday every 2hourly for start. As for acne scars, Dermaroller and lasers like co2/er-yag are good options. As for best skin specialist , I believe all my colleagues are best. Rest depends on your area ,preferred time and cost to you .
