I have PCOS and I have several skin tags on different parts of my body. I have read somewhere that these are effects of PCOS. Are two of these curable. I really want to get rid of skin tag and dark patch on my face. What should I do? Currently, I am not under any medication. Light Dark patches appeared on my facial skin when I was 12/13 years old. I consulted dermatologist but the patches remained. Any solution doctor for skin tags and dark patches on my skin?

Hello mam. Glad that u shared the snap to know more... In the PCOD/PCOS there is a whole lot of hormonal fluctuations going on in the body. This is usually the cause for pigmentation. Insulin is one such hormone whose decreased sensitivity causes the Hyper pigmentation. The hormonal treatment for the condition should give u mild relief. While at it you can use few safe moisturizers and sunscreens. The skin tags however can be removed by various methods like excision, cryotherapy or lasers. U can contact or text me online for more details.
