Hello Doctor,
My mother in law has a sore which was in red colour and it was like a red bubble and it has been present since last 5 years and now all of us sudden the same bubble size has been increased ( P.F.A the image FYR)
Can you tell us what is this and what are the next step?
She is 58 years and reducing weight gradually and she has sugar , pressure issues..

What your mother in law has a abscess which needs to be drained... depending on the actual size of the abscess it can either be done under local anaesthesia in the OPD itself or if it is big then one needs to to operate on her in the major OT... assume that your mother in law is age more than 50 years it is advisable to get operated at the earliest and not wait for or medical management
