  4. Sore throat and light fever. Working?

Sore throat and light fever
I am having sore throat with dry cough and light fever (100.5) for past 2 days... started taking clavam 625 twice a day starting last night and a vitamin C and montek LC at night. Usually take a calpol at night which brings down the fever. Just took 2 clavam tablets so far and fever is still there but has never gone above 100.5.. ranging between 100.3-100.5 at all times .. I had exact same symptoms 2 months back and these were the medicines prescribed to me.. I am also doing gargle twice a day and taking grilinctus once at night before going to bed. Want to know if this is fine and should I wait for some more time to see if the medicines are working?

Your symptoms indicate as common cold please avoid taking antibiotics unnecessarily with out clear indication. You can wait few more days, take steam inhalation and warm salt water gargling.
