Hi
Severe sore throat and pain while swallowing are the symptoms of acute tonsillopharyngitis and hence you need to visit an ent specialist and the standard prescription will include antibiotics, decongestant, medicinal gargles .
So consult an ent specialist.

Hello..
Well it's quite possible that sore throat is because of change in water ..I would suggest you to drink warm water..And do salt water gargling first thing...Apart from that you would need antihistamines like cetrizine twice a day and also amox clav tablets for 5-7 days...Meet an ENT specialist...Thank you
