I suffer from mumbling and stammering since my childhood. I feel embarresed because I can't confidently participate in any debate, discussion, seminar papers, etc. Now I am 18... Is it curable at this age?

It is possible to cure stammering at this age with good speech therapy. The more tensed you will be, more worse the stammering will be. Please contact speech language therapist or ENT
