Stomach ultrasounds and colon
Ho doctors , I just wanted to know if ultrasounds can detect anything abnormal in colon ans rectum?? Becauas ultrasounds can detect prostrate gland then can it not delect anythinv in colon ?? Please suggest. If ultrasound is normal then can ee say that there are less chance of anythinv abnormal.in colon and rectum?? I know colonsocope is gold to check but can we use ultrasound if person is scare of colonsocope?? Please suggest.

Usually for colon either Colonoscopy/ CT ideal.

Better to take CT enterography if colonoscopy cannot be done, Ultrasound of intestine can be performed by experts radiologist,who are trained in that,not performed by every sono logist.
