Suffering from scatica pain
I have been suffering from back pain from last 2 months . I have consulted 2 orthopaedic doctors where they suggested me to take tablets and I even used them for a month continuously. But the pain has not subsided instead it has increased toward the lower leg from back. Finally decided to go physiotheraphy from last 10 days but the pain is not reduced yet with only very minimal change. What could be the next step in this case... will chiropractic helps ?

Hello sir , I would suggest you to have a resting period for a week till your pain intensity reduces .if your pain is continuous even after resting you should prefer for scanning of your spine and then go for proper physiotherapy with precautions. Meanwhile in the resting period you can go for hot packs 10min twice a day and avoid forward bending ,lifting weights. Prolonged postures needs to be avoided. Thank you.

Please ensure that a thorough assessment of your back is done and a treatment plan has been devised. Body adapts to certain positions and postures which might not affect early but later on develops pain. Continue your physiotherapy sessions and if treatment is not giving results, undergo re-examination to identify the correct problem.

Please continue with the physiotherapy sessions. It will take time to get better. An application of lumbar traction with IRR and ultrasound gives good progress according to my experience.

Hey there! Please continue with your physiotherapy treatment and inspite of going for chiropractic, go for manual therapy. The pain needs centralization. The pain is radiating in your leg which should stop first and only stay first in your back which is centralization.
