I have a mental illness. I am afraid of trains, heights, knives. Sometimes I lose control over my mind. I feel like dying. Please suggest good medicine and treatment. I am suffering from this problem for the last 18 years. I have consulted many doctors but nothing has made a difference.

I advice you to consult a Psychiatrist first, understand the treatment and along with this you can take therapy sessions from a Psychologist or a Psychotherapist. In your case, Cognitive behaviour therapy (cbt) can work and give you the results. This all depends on what the Psychiatrist says.
