Surgery Do I have an muscles now or not

Asked for Male, 27 Years

I had an appendicitis with peritonitis surgery 11 years ago. The incision was vertical over the belly button. I want to know whether the surgeons would have cut my abdominal muscles during the surgery.? Do I have those muscles now?
